Local restaurant Chez Nous asked me to come in for a meeting to discuss their social media sites / menu. I had a meeting with Chez Nous’s agent before meeting with the owner and could do some research before hand on how I wanted to go about this project.

For this particular project I wanted to show the freshness of the ingredients that Chez Nous use for their dishes as well as a simple top view of each dish to compliment the ingredients. The following are a few of the results :

Dish 1 : Linefish Thermidor

Our fresh linefish ot the day topped with 3 plump prawns, covered in a creamy white wine sauce and topped off with cheddar and mozarella under the grill.(served with chips and vegetables)

Dish 2 : Casablanca

300g Rump topped with bacon, brie, avocado and caramelised onions.

Dish 3 : Prawn & Avo Stack

Spicy grilled prawns stacked on a tower of tomato, onion coriander and avocado and served with a basil and chilli oil.

Dish 4 : Capo Pizza

Spicy Italian salami with roasted peppers, onions, garlic and chilli.

Dish 5 : Abigail’s Pasta

Spicy chicken and bacon in a creamy sundried tomato pesto sauce with a sprinkling of feta

Dish 6 : Calamari Salad

Mixed salad greens with roasted peppers topped with deep-fried calamari served with a spicy Namjim dressing

The second part of the
project was to photograph images of a couple enjoying their meal at the
restaurant itself.
