“The KAI Group was founded in Seki city, Gifu Prefecture, which has a history of over 800 years as the home of forging blades. While passing down the skill and spirit which continue to flow in this land, we are aiming to expand our product lines focusing on blades as well as related items.

Nowhere else in the world can you find a cutlery-related manufacturer which has developed close to 10,000 products in the cooking, grooming, beauty care, and medical fields, as well as engaging in the planning and development, production, sale, and distribution of such a variety of products on its own.

By using that to our advantage we are continuing our efforts so KAI products can become a part of the daily lives of people throughout the world.”

KAI - Shun Grater has been an experiment into how we can take a simple product and add more value with photographs. We would love to receive product images from suppliers but in reality most suppliers only have the most basic images that they use to sell their product to their distributors.

This product has a strong and beautiful packaging design that is joined by a bamboo cleaner. The attention to detail with the materials & the logo make this product feel expensive and well worth the money for your high end kitchen. The images need to reflect that. We need to guide our customers into making the right decision when buying products and images play a crucial role in this process. Product images need to be simple, direct and show exactly what you are buying into.
